We're thrilled to have raised more than £1500 for the Cheltenham Animal Shelter, following our Christmas fundraising activities, which included a Prize Draw Raffle, staff Xmas jumper day and annual donation.
We would like to say a big thank you to all those who donated and congratulate our raffle winners Lynette, Jackie and Claire.
Although the raffle is now closed, we’re still very happy to receive donations for the Cheltenham Animal Shelter.
Those wanting to give can do so by visiting the fundraising page:
As well as our Prize Draw, we’re delighted to be bringing some early festive cheer to the charity with our £1,000 donation. Having supported the Cheltenham Animal Shelter for the last seven years, the money will be a real boost towards the cost of care.
Over the past year the charity has looked after over 800 animals (dogs, cats and other small animals). This is no mean feat, considering how much money, time and resources this requires.
With just a few weeks to Christmas, the shelter’s ramping up its campaign activities to bring a little more comfort to the lives of animals waiting to find a suitable new home. Their Christmas initiatives include:
Shoe box appeal – You can bring in a shoe box full of treats and gifts for one of the homeless animals in their care over Christmas.
Amazon Wish List – You can also provide some extra comfort for the animals by buying them a gift from the shelter’s Amazon Wish List.
Sponsor a kennel – You can sponsor a kennel/or cat pod. A wonderful Christmas gift, which will feature a personalised wall plaque with your own inscription or company logo.
The shelter works tirelessly all year without government funding, to rehouse its visitors including dogs, cats and rabbits, gerbils and guinea pigs.
