Did you know that Mitel phone systems can integrate with Microsoft Teams?
If you have a Mitel phone system and use Microsoft Teams, connecting the two could be an ideal solution for your business. Read on to learn more about Mitel Teams Integration.
The benefits of Mitel phone systems are clear
Mitel offers market-leading business communications, with over 70 million business users worldwide. With a 45-year history, their experience is extensive and Mitel’s phone systems are used in businesses in over 100 countries.
As a Mitel user you'll know that the key advantages of their systems are the high quality voice and huge range of features, including unified communications and collaboration solutions.
Microsoft Teams' growth is significant
Within just three years, Teams has grown to 75 million daily users (as of April 2020). And this growth is set to continue as Skype for Business reaches its end of life in July 2021.
Microsoft’s high level of investment in Teams shows that it is undoubtedly the jewel in their crown when it comes to unified communications. Therefore, the ability to incorporate Mitel phone systems into it is a huge benefit for businesses.
Why integrate your Mitel phone system with Teams?
Using Teams has become vital to many businesses, so voice integration is the logical next step towards a fully unified experience. By connecting Teams and Mitel, you will benefit from the best of both worlds, with increased flexibility for making and receiving calls in a way which suits you. This in turn can have a positive impact on your productivity and efficiency.
For Mitel users, the ability to integrate your Mitel phone system with Microsoft Teams means you can choose to make and receive voice calls through either your Mitel handset or via your Teams app while benefiting from all the features of your Mitel phone system. This flexibility makes it easier for both office-based and remote workers, while using systems you’ve already invested in and are familiar with.
Connecting Mitel to Microsoft Teams
Many users already use voice and video calling on Teams to communicate internally with colleagues. Mitel Teams Integration will enable you to take this further and use Teams for both incoming and outgoing calls for the business. You can easily use your existing phone numbers, SIP trunks and Mitel phone system for voice communication through Teams.
There are other voice options for Teams, such as Microsoft Teams Direct Routing or the Microsoft Teams phone calling plans. Mitel Teams Integration differs as it enables you to use your existing Mitel system and retain your investment in the platform.
